I was excavating through the Chelsea galleries today and I found these "momentary motion paintings" by the artist, Andy Denzler. He is also a sculptor, I do not find them as interesting, however, the relation between the style is captured quite well. The way he manages to represent the figure is an impressive gesture of strokes and blurs that form a solid entity. His choice in composition embodies that of isolation and fleeting moments, his works resemble a movie frame, shifting in and out of a scene, and the roll runs out...
